SAMHSA offers hotline for dealing with Sandy Hook

In light of the school shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary, the 'Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration'(SAMHSA) offers tips on 'Coping with Violence and Traumatic Events'.  "The Disaster Distress Helpline 1-800-985-5990 provides immediate crisis counseling and help to people affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.  The Helpline can also be accessed at http://disaster distress.samhsa.gov/ . Call SAMHSA 24 / 7 to confidentially talk with "trained and caring professional from the closest crisis counseling center in the nationwide network of centers. The Helpline will provide confidential counseling, referrals and other needed support services."
